The Bannatyne offered a pleasant escape with lovely grounds. The garden provided a serene setting to unwind after a day of exploring Hastings. Checking in went smoothly. the staff greeted me warmly. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Despite enjoying the room, the bed setup was uncomfortable. The two beds zipped together created a noticeable hump. Breakfast was a highlight. The selection was fantastic, featuring fresh pastries and a great full English. I faced some issues at dinner. The food lacked quality. the fish and chips tasted frozen. I heard excessive noise from an event below my room, disrupting my sleep. this hotel has the potential but needs better dining options and noise control.

The outdoor jacuzzis deliver a nice touch to the spa experience, adding to a sense of relaxation. The hotel grounds are picturesque and well-maintained, making for great walks if you seek a little fresh air.
The main hotel can feel crowded during peak times, and the soundproofing is lacking, which reaches some weird noises from plumbing or outside sources. room furnishings show signs of wear and could use a bit more attention. for instance, the carpet might need some stretching, and the shower lacks straightforward accessibility features.

The hotel itself was lovely and the staff provided excellent service, making it enjoyable. the spa experience fell short—it's more of a leisure center than a true spa, with confusing access between facilities and some service inconsistencies in the café. a mixed experience.

A Relaxing Retreat with Some Flaws
I enjoyed a peaceful getaway, and the staff were exceptionally warm and accommodating. A special shoutout to Maisy at reception! Don't miss the delicious breakfast options. it was too cold in the room during the day, making it a bit challenging for work. Bring a blanket for comfort!
